Welcome to my website! Confetti Kennel is located just east of Dallas, Texas. I have been involved in dogs since 1975 and have pretty well tried most venues involving dogs including racing sled dogs, weight pulling, obedience, conformation, back packing and agility. Needless to say we haven't always had only toy breeds! As I have gotten older the dogs have decreased in size. Loading show equipment into and out of the van is a lot easier when you have Chihuahua crates instead of Alaskan Malamute crates! The feed bill is a little easier to bear as well!

While showing has remained my primary focus my guys are family members first and show dogs second. Living in the country on acreage allows me the freedom of taking nightly walks through the pasture with the gang where they explore neat smells and chase the geese. (Usually followed by the geese chasing the dogs!) We are a familiar sight in town with dogs at every window as we drive around running errands. The great temperaments seem to be passed down to our puppies who are exposed to as many new sights and sounds as we can safely provide them. It's great to be a good show dog but even better to be a well balanced and social pet. None of the dogs are ever raised in crates or pens. We have several dog yards with access to a heated and air conditioned dog room. Show dogs spend evenings in the summer months in covered kennel runs to prevent faded coats and lounging on the couch during the day. Everyone spends time in the house sometime during the week and puppies are always raised in the house around people and the normal hubbub associated with a home.
